The Milenco Precision Calibrated Noseweight Gauge has been manufactured using unique materials so that its calibration remains accurate even after 1000 uses.
Another improvement we have made is that the scale is much clearer and goes up to 130 kilos and are accurate to within 2 kilos.
Further improvements include the fact we made the Noseweight Gauge the same height as your caravan, so you do not need to block it up to use it.
We know this Gauge costs a few pounds more, but you are getting real value for money and something that works correctly.
We think this is far better than something that can be potentially dangerous, as you can end up with a low Noseweight, which is the trend with the un-calibrated Noseweight Gauges as the springs soften with use especially those using piano wire.
How to Use:
– Position Caravan with Hitch over hard surface.
– Ensure your Caravan handbrake is fully engaged.
– Remove any Chocks.
– Raise Corner Steadies.
– Raise Caravan by Jockey Wheel Handle to required height to enable insertion of Noseweight Gauge into Hitch.
– Ensure the Noseweight is safely located and square to ground.
– Turn jockey wheel handle to lower Caravan on to Noseweight Gauge and continue to raise jockey wheel so that the full Noseweight is supported by Gauge.
– Measure Noseweight and if necessary adjust Caravan loading to achieve correct Noseweight.
