What is Fenwicks Black Streak Remover? My caravan is plagued by black streaks. I’ve tried everything to prevent them happening, but nothing works. I have tried things you slide in the awning rails. Also, I’ve tried using specialist polish, and even tried a mixture of lemon juice and Unicorn’s pee. Ok, I made that last one up, but you get the idea.

However, you can’t prevent black streaks happening, which is why you need something like Fenwicks Black Streak Remover. It’s really easy to use, you find a black streak, spray it on, and wipe if off.

Of course you can use it on other stuff too. This Black Streak Remover will remove algae and any other stubborn marks, including tar stains. Which has caused me problems in the past, hundreds of little tar spots are annoying. It’s probably true that just about any polish / cleaner / washing up liquid could do the job. However, it’s not just about cleaning the caravan it’s about protecting the surface. Again, it’s a personal choice thing which cleaner you use. If you asked 10 people you’d probably get 6 different answers.

Watered Down Caravan Cleaner?

It comes in a 1 litre bottle with a spray head already attached. Some do argue you don’t need it and other cleaners do the same thing. Well, this might be true, it’s a personal thing. Some swear blind by it whilst others think it a waste of money. You decide.

One reviewer on amazon said that Fenwicks Black Streak Remover is just watered down caravan cleaner, because they found out that’s all it is. I don’t know if that’s the case or not, but worth knowing.

Some people just like using something that’s designed to sort out whatever problem they have. They enjoy the routine of having specialised cleaners. it’s not for everyone, but then we’re not all the same.

I generally use a waterless spray cleaner and every now and again i use Auto Glym’s Resin Polish, just because I use it on the car and I’m happy with it. just to add a point here. If you own a bailey they suggest not using wax / polish with carnauba in. There’s a surprising amount of polish with that in. it’s unclear to me exactly why they suggest this.
