Coachman Lusso

I think it’s true for many of us, if money was no object a Coachman Lusso would be top of our list. For me, Coachman indicates the height of luxury. Of course, in my mind, I confuse Coachman and Pullman, it’s just me isn’t it? That aside, I would love a Coachman caravan, that’s not based on any realistic information or fact, purely an emotional one.
So, Coachman have just created the Coachman Lusso, their latest high end caravan and I’d expect it to be flipping good!
Not long after we bought our current caravan we were staying at Love2Stay (I know it polarises opinion, in a love / hate way). Anyway, Salop Leisure is basically onsite at L2S so we had a look, as you do. Mandy sits in a Coachman and I remember it as if it were yesterday. She says, “Well you didn’t tell me about these, I would rather have a Coachman than a Bailey” Oh great! Of course, I hadn’t told her the price at that point. I mean buying a Coachman from Salop Leisure, do you think I’m made of money 🙂
Enough of this nonsense, let’s have a little look.

Certainly the Coachman Lusso looks like a Coachman from the outside, I’m a little biased as it’s a twin axle. But I do love the shape of Coachman Caravans, I’ll even forgive them the two front lockers as it makes the front look symmetrical. It also sports a new badge, which surely makes it worth the money. Speaking of money, you’ll have to part with £41,000 to own one. Lord only knows what the depreciation will be after 12 months. But of course, if I could afford one, depreciation wouldn’t bother me, actually, it would.

Interior

I’m out, sorry, I don’t like a transverse bed. But that doesn’t mean you won’t like it. As it’s an 8ft wide it will make navigating the bed somewhat easier. However, I call all manufacturers to stop making this design immediately, it doesn’t work. I jest of course, you might like it and in some ways it does work and it usually enables you to have a slightly larger lounge.
I won’t list every single feature, you can check out Coachman’s website for all the specs Coachmans Website However, here are some highlights.
If you have a look at the Coachman Lusso, you’ll see you really wouldn’t want for anything, it really is top spec, and commands top price. Alde heating and E&P levelling are two that stand out for me, although you could argue Alde heating should be standard anyway. But what about roof-mounted WifI, deeper pile luxurious stain-resistant loose lay carpets, Oh my, I’m off to do the lottery and buy a Coachman Lusso myself. Oh, before I do, can I just say I do not like the “fruit bowl” style sink that Bailey also use. It is unusable! Not even if you put it at a jaunty angle in the photo!

 

Would I buy a Coachman Lusso? Well, two things would have to happen. Firstly, I’d have to win the lottery and secondly, I’d have to change that SINK! Then again, it’s an ideal place to keep your fruit.
