Best Caravan Wheel Clamp

Caravan wheel clamp is one of many caravan accessories. Everyone knows how important security is. Caravans like any other vehicle can be stolen, we all like to do everything we can to prevent this from happening.
In some cases insurance companies insist on you having certain devices in place and on the caravan whilst parked.

On our last two caravans we’ve used Alko Axle wheel locks. Our latest caravan is a twin axle and to be honest, fitting two Alko locks is a real pain. Unfortunately it’s something we have to do to comply with our insurance terms and conditions. In any case, if you have a single axle caravan they are easy enough to use, you just need to line one wheel up so that the screw thread where the lock bolt fits into lines up with a space in your wheel. On a twin axle you need to line up two, which usually involves jacking the caravan up.

Wheel clamps and wheel security devices are usually and easy, effective way to help prevent your pride and joy being stolen. Obviously there are no guarantees it won’t get stolen, but it’s good for peace of mind, and as I mentioned insurance T’s & C’s….
